Huskers are going to win this one. 70 to 58 with a 1:30 to play.
Callahan makes a bunch of 3's and scores like 25, Wolters scores like 17, and the rest of the team 16. Not good. White, Fiegen, and Carlson did not show up to play.

13 of Wolters points are from the free throw line. He is 2 of 13 from the field

How many short shots did Fiegen and Prince miss? Like always, sucks listening to homer announcers. Every move by Nate was a walk. Oh yeah, Hortsman is now a junior. REALLY!!! Idiots.
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!--Bluto--

It really makes a difference having good announcers even if your team is losing. I hope other fsns can listen to our radio coverage and think we aren't complete homers.

Team played pretty bad as a whole, which is too bad because this one was a winnable game.
I continue to be impressed with the Jacks' first half defense and rebounding against these power conference opponents, though there seems to be more breakdowns in the second half. I believe the second half breakdown in these games have been attributed to the offense struggling, and the players start trying to compensate by creating offensive opportunities through steals and streaking down court before the rebound is secure.
Offense really has struggled in all our BCS games, and its mainly because the less experienced players are playing too passive on that side of the ball. Don't know if it's them playing overly cautious because of the name on the front of the defenders' jerseys, but they need to get the mindset that they are not only on their opponents' level, but better than they are (regardless of whether it is actually true).
Still positives to build on from this game, and hopefully this team continues to grow. The talent is there!

Just didn't look like we were playing well. Played hard for a while there.
Thought our perimeter D was awful, got tired of watching them take us off the dribble.
On offense, we didn't get much except FT's for Nate, and 3's from Callahan. Looked totally out of synch out there.
Positives? Well, we played poorly, on the road, against a Big 12 opponent, and still cut the lead to five with about 7 mins left or so.
To be honest, the way we played... we'd have been beaten by 30 just a few short years ago. There's growth there.
Room for improvement? tons. We're better than what we showed today.
Nate didn't shoot very well from the field but he was doubled teamed and trapped the whole game. Nebraska didn't even bother guarding anybody else.Grif was the only one to take advantage of the wide open looks.Brutal.
