Which team will show up? Bad Jacks, who can't compete against Morningside or Southwest Minnesota, or Good Jacks, who play toe to toe with Manhattan and beat Tennessee State at their place?

There's been a lot of ripping on the Jacks men recently, and most deservidly so. But take in to account that even though they got their a$$ handed to them the last time out, they are 5-4 in their last 9 games Nothing to get too excited about, but I think they've made some positve strides throughout the year.

In formatting that list, I noticed some interesting names . . .
268, Weber State, from the #@#$ Big Sky.
270, Central Connecticut State - We played them in the D-II playoffs a while back.
275, UC Davis, GWFC.
281, Sacramento State, Big Sky.
287, Idaho State Big Sky.
299, Northern Colorado, GWFC/Big Sky (?).
307, Jacksonville State, who beat us for the '85 D-II championship.
308, Cal Poly SLO, GWFC.
309, North Dakota State, GWFC.
311, Mt. St. Mary's, who we beat in the national semifinals to get to Jacksonville State.

Conclusions:
1. The GWFC would have been a real bad basketball conference this year.

2. The Big Sky isn't much better.

3. Several old D-II playoff foes of SDSU are struggling mightily in D-I.

4. If we're having such a horrible season and are still being rated above 85 D-I schools, the future is bright indeed.

I'm watching Monday Night's opponent, Colorado, play the Jayhawks of Kansas on ABC right now. Would have never said that last year. It has been a rough first season, but I still love being D-I! 8)

You act as if your game is nationally televised or that someone just said SDSU beat Colorado. All they said was Colorado's next opponent is SDSU and you are blowing about that. This thread is about SDSU vs. Colorado. You might try to formulate a message which at least peripherally addresses that particular topic.
