You think your smack is going to change how cruddy its been, you team has beat us soundly for like half a decade or something. Turning it to smack really wont help your cause, NDSU had some super seniors who got them to the turney, now NDSU is a below avg program overall, they are only good consistantly against SDSU.

NDSU has beaten us 5 straight seasons. Its been brutal, let us take solace in the accomplishments we actually do have, however meager they may be to a Bison fan (5 seed, barely winning conference records, etc).

Imagine losing to us 5 straight years in football, but finishing ahead of us in the conference standings... you'd probably take some comfort in that, wouldn't you?

At the end of the day, I'm just trying to make the demotivational poster thread, show me some love!
Good stuff. You'll get into the demotivational poster thread...but I'll leave references to teh basketballs out of it. It would just be mean.

In that case, please direct your smack at the SDSU basketball team prior to our next game.

If it was that easy I'd just direct my smack to the refs!*

It must be fun living in your world of make believe. Maybe next time SDSU should wear striped jerseys that look like ref shirts and then we would surely win.

Smack on this thread going forward is going to get people a month's timeout.

Smack in the smack section only, please.

According to some of your posters what your team wears doesn't seem to affect the outcome...it is what the opposition wears. (i.e. Bison jersey)

exactly, it seems to make a difference, so maybe SDSU should wear ref shirts. Here is an idea, let us wear ref shirts to play you guys, and every one else make them wear SDSU unis when you play them. NDSU would win expect for the refs in our game. Wonder how well the rest of the confrence would like that idea.

PS this is not smack. Just goofin.

I am to assume that these tourney games are not even necessary and that IPFW should just send a white flag and put it on their bench but if SDSU gets a shot at NDSU assume that SDSU would win because they get another shot and are clearly more talented despite 2 losses? You can't have it both ways.

My point, IPFW was clearly overmatched against SDSU in the previous 2 meetings as was SDSU against NDSU. That doesn't mean a damn thing at this point. IPFW wants a shot at us regardless of what Fife said to the media and SDSU wants a shot at NDSU regardless of what Nagy said or what the numbers show.

So, the Jacks had better play their best game Sunday or there won't be any shot at playing NDSU Tuesday much less a 2nd game in the tourney.
After reading this twice I'm confused too!

I know, I was trying to get your goat but to do it in a way that would amuse.

I don't understand why it seems harder to beat a team a 3rd time but it seems like it is. There is probably some science behind it although I have no idea if the evidence supports the theory. It sure doesn't make much sense that losing one of the regular season games would make it easier to win the post-season game but for some reason it does seem that way.
