When I heard Nagy in the post-game comments poo-poo that NDSU is in our heads, I about wanted to pick my computer up and throw it though the wall.
And I'm one of the biggest Nagy apologists out there!!!!!!!!!!

Damitt anyway...I swore I wasn't going to talk or even think about those arrogant P'sOS from the north until next FB season...Thanks SF_RAbbit!

    Go Jacks!!
Yeah all this coming from the group that keeps saying they are heads above in talent etc......and you have nothing to base that on so who is arrogant??? Head to Head is the best determination (at least thats what we have heard from some SDSU fans for several years in the FB forums) and we have 10 straight head to head in BBall you tell me?

your already starting this comment for your next opponent??? My god SDSU is the 5 seed thats not earth shattering, if your so much better than everyone why are you not the 1 or 2???

Its all mental and pathetic in my opinion. But to say that 'there is nothing athletic about NDSU' is not a true statement. I understand a lot of people can dunk.
There are some athletic players on NDSU,but I don't think anyone would say that Oakland and ORU aren't more athletic than NDSU from the top of their rosters to the bottom - yet the Jacks play both of those teams tougher than the Bison.

Did I say we were better than everyone and deserved to be a 1 or 2 seed? Let me see we are playing a team that we beat 87-52 at home and 80-64 on the road. Yea, I think we are the better team! We earned exactly what we got and that is a 5 seed and NDSU earned what they got and that is a 7 seed.

We aren't better than everyone. But we have pretty clearly been better than IPFW (16 and 35 point wins). If we can't be confident going into this game, when could we be confident?

Relax. NDSU has beaten us for the last 5 seasons. Some games by a lot, some games by the skin of your teeth. Our stars have struggled (your team/coach has something to do with that), and your stars have been amazing (our team/coach has had something to do with that).

I find it funny to have Bison fans judge SDSU based on the two games we play. If NDSU plays like they do against SDSU all season long they're probably at least a 3 seed. If SDSU plays like they do against NDSU the whole season, we aren't even in the tournament.

You say that you are not favored, but you have a shot. The Bison, on the other hand, have no shot. Yeah, we are totally different teams. You guys have a shot, but we don't. C'mon man, you are better than that. I admit you guys have a better shot than us, but by how much? Seriously?
TAB: I'm sticking by my opinion on this one and it has nothing to do with grapes. I'm done trying to figure out what it is about NDSU vs SDSU in men's basketball and whether its a head game, matchup problems, Murphy's law, whatever...I don't really care. I'm going to the tourney this weekend because, like everyone who has been following the Summit League: I know the Jackrabbits are a dangerous team. Favored? No. Counted out? Hardly. I don't think the Bison enter the tourney with same level of concern by opponents.

I love it. You've got a average program with a shot at winning it. We've got a average program with no shot. Got it. Makes perfect sense. Good luck with that.

I doubt Kampe and Sutton think that way. Just yesterday Kampe felt that NDSU could win the tournament...

I was never very good at math, but wouldn't a seven seed be a below average program?

By moral victory, do you mean our second straight winning season, conference and overall?

I'm confused now. Is SDSU better than NDSU despite the fact they beat us twice but IPFW is no possible way better than SDSU because we beat them twice and is SDSU definitely better than NDSU because we have a higher seed then them but IPFW is not better than SDSU because they have a higher seed than us? I am to assume that these tourney games are not even necessary and that IPFW should just send a white flag and put it on their bench but if SDSU gets a shot at NDSU assume that SDSU would win because they get another shot and are clearly more talented despite 2 losses? You can't have it both ways.

My point, IPFW was clearly overmatched against SDSU in the previous 2 meetings as was SDSU against NDSU. That doesn't mean a damn thing at this point. IPFW wants a shot at us regardless of what Fife said to the media and SDSU wants a shot at NDSU regardless of what Nagy said or what the numbers show.

So, the Jacks had better play their best game Sunday or there won't be any shot at playing NDSU Tuesday much less a 2nd game in the tourney.

lol, no I don't want to get into it.

NDSU has beaten us 5 straight seasons. Its been brutal, let us take solace in the accomplishments we actually do have, however meager they may be to a Bison fan (5 seed, barely winning conference records, etc).

Imagine losing to us 5 straight years in football, but finishing ahead of us in the conference standings... you'd probably take some comfort in that, wouldn't you?

At the end of the day, I'm just trying to make the demotivational poster thread, show me some love!
