Fife is a pretty good coach, so I would imagine he can get his team to dispose of the mentality he formerly implanted of "we just don't match up with SDSU".
That said, the Jacks can't complain, it was a win/win for them whoever won between IPFW and UMKC Saturday because these two teams are their most favorable matchups.
The last complete dud the team put up was against UMKC on a Thursday night at Frost. It took two days to get that out of their head and then put a beatdown against So. Utah.
Erase NDSU, the likelihood of playing them in the tournament is slim to none anyways. ORU is on a roll and if they get past that game IUPUI may be above Oakland for the worst matchup for NDSU.
