    Re: IPFW-Round 2

IPFW associate coach says that they match up much better with NDSU because NDSU's guards aren't as good.

That and he said that SDSU spreads the floor with shooters which makes it tough for teams to play their bigs. This is what Nagy said in the beginning of the year, that teams were going to have a hard time matching up with our small line-up, not the other way around.

      Re: IPFW-Round 2

Fiegen said at the end of the interview that one of the IPFW guys, tears streaming down his face, said: "Please tell filbert to stop hating us; we're people too!"

Of course I made that up.

The final on the IUPUI game: SUU 80, IUPUI 68
With 2:25 to go, Oakland 68, NDSU 66 (that may deserve a Wartburg Track & Field: WTF?)

Bizun giving Oakland something of a game... we clinch only at least seventh with this win though, right? This is how close the league is..

Can anyone give me a final stat line for Nate? Espn isn't working on my iPod touch.

Very excellent win. The team is playing its best at the right time of the year.
Were Stevenson and Heemstra back on the bench tonight?

If Oakland wins, NDSU is at 7-9, which would clinch 6th for us. With an NDSU win, 7th is the worst we can do.

Good win tonight, and I hope we bring this momentum into the Orena and top Oakland. IUPUI plays ORU next Thursday I think, so one of them will at least have one loss in the last 2 games.

Felt misses 3-point shot with two seconds left and Bizun fall by 2. Jacks need to beat these guys Saturday night.

Terrible play with 16 seconds left. NDSU needs a PG badly!
