I noticed this too on ESPN. Kind of a head scratcher when it was around a 20 point margin for the last 5 minutes. Any rest for King Wolters is much needed. He's got to be averaging 35 min in conference games. There's no more Centenary's on the schedule. Any blowout is a recipe for rest for the most important guy on the team.

Though Dykstra and Fiegen were evened out at something like 22 and 14. Both of those guys in the game Saturday might be a good play against Benson and Hudson.

Well, Nagy has said that he has eased up on the guys in practice. Maybe that allows him to play guys longer. After all, if you are going to wear guys out do it when it matters and not in 4-on-4s...

Wolters has also had a few games lately, IPFW at home, WIU at home, Centenary on the road, where he only played about 25 minutes. With Nagy backing off in practice and us only playing twice a week I'm not too worried about him having a big minute game here or there.

I also think that Nagy knows how important the rest of the games from here on are to this team. IMO, he wants these guys to get a team down and then bury them. Perhaps increasing the minutes toward the end of the season is also ramping them up to the tournament. I would imagine that Nate won't get too much down time in Sioux Falls.

Not true. Somebody mis-coded the score at 14:54 1st at IPFW 96 SDSU 4.

Sounds like a hell of a first 5 minutes.

I was wondering about that? I didn't follow the link. But as I recall, the game was close for the first 12 minutes or so, then the Jacks pulled a way. Oh well. Time to move on and beat the Grizz.
