TV reporting that Morrison is out for the next 2-3 weeks and will miss the road trip.

                  Re: ORU

So another win by the men tonight without a problem.

On to a game against the team in the Summit League everyone wanted to follow for some time. However, a team that has been beat down by injuries and after tonight, has 3 conference losses already. The Jacks have had some success against these guys at home and one memorable game in SF. Looking at this game and this Jacks team, they should not lose. ORU is a tough-nosed, walk the fine line between good and bad, team. But the Jacks have the moxy and shooters to take them out and take to the road next week with confidence.

Trying not to look ahead too far, but in two weeks Oakland and IPFW (combined 10-0) are coming to Frost.

I hear where you are coming from but maybe am a little more cautious.

I love the way our team is progressing and in particular with Dykstra really starting to come on and what a relief that Sargent is back to his sharp-shooting self. They need to stay in the moment and not get ahead of themselves. This is a really young and really talented team. When the talent part comes through we win. When the youth shows we have a battle on our hands. I believe they will come out and play a strong game on Saturday but us fans need to not be shocked when we have an off night and the youth shows up. Its all part of the process.

My predeiction is that SDSU is a team that nobody will want to play come tournament time. They are very talented and they are coming together as a team. Get to Frost Arena and watch these guys! It is fun to watch!

                      GB, GB, GJ!

                          Re: ORU

I spoke to a few of the ORU players last night at Applebee's. They were not very happy about the end of the NDSU game, and they seemed to be pretty fired up for tonight's game.

                              Re: ORU

A lot of people who are not necessarily Jack die-hard fans, are aware of tonight's contests. There's some "buzz" about the Oral Roberts doubleheader. I hope that translates into a great crowd (will the TV weather guys try to discourage travel -- I think they've been over-hyping the weather in the past few years; guess they have to justify their existence).

My wife and I will be in Frost. Sure hope they have the new hotdogs selected by then.
