Btw Jackrabbit fans... we are 14 games into the season... and sitting 10-4... Centenary is next... they are the true midpoint of the season.. great start to the season.

Coach: i don't care what road trip it is in this league, better feel good about it when you can get two and I do. But, have to be better defensively...we're not going to be defined by being a good offensive team, it's how we play defense.



My comment: Well, I suppose he's right about playing defense but this team is winning on the road and SUU has proved it can play ball. Nice victory! Great weekend showing. Bring on Centenary and five of their best friends.

you would think that after several years in the league these people would understand the difference between South Dakota and South Dakota State, coaches more than anyon. Yet the UTAH coach kept calling us South Dakota. These guys are Utah from now on until they get it fright.

What the coach is saying is correct and now is the right time to say it. Missing FT is unexcuseable, since you can put pts on the board with the clock not running and there are no hands in the shooter's face. Still it was a good road trip, and our guys surprised me as I was away from the radio for most of the game, and when I heard the score 76-60, I was totally shocked to hear SDSU had the lead.

Ugh...I've fallen completely off the schnide since Christmas in regards to getting to sdsufans or catching 'rabbit games...good to see they went 2-0 on the road trip.

Lovin' the 10-4 record. Wish we could have the early Dec. NDSU game back.

Nate had 29 with 9 assists. Tony had 13 and 7 boards and Clint chipped in with 23

SUU's video (camera work) is pretty poor, but it was still fun to watch the Jacks (Jackrabbit Extra). Announcers were fair I thought, and very complimentary about the team. It was a frustrating game in ways, as we were so good at times, and so bad at others. However, as Coach pointed out, this is one of the toughest road games in the conference, and it would be easy on the second game to lose focus once in awhile. Just a great road trip! Clint put the hammer down when he needed too (although I was on him for missing FTs!) But we let Ryan Grimley (senior guard) get started and couldn't shut him down, which made for some interesting surges, both ways. Big games next Saturday night for men and women...be there if you can!

...SDSU crowds aren't exactly busting the turnstiles Regardless, how freakin' awesome is it to sweep a road trip to start the conference season
