Re: So Utah Game Day Thread
LakeJack...hope you don't mind: I renamed the thread the game day thread.
Tip-off tonight is 8:00 Central (7:00 Mountain in Cedar City)
SUU's last game was the 77-68 win over NDSU.
Through the NDSU game....
SUU is 2-3 at home; Average home attendance is 2,349;
Men at Work: We Come From a Land Down Under...
If my recollection is correct, SUU has had Australians on the squad since SDSU first started playing the Thunderbirds. This season they have three including their twin-towers, 6-9 Matt Massey and 6-11 Matt Hodgson. They join 6-2 sophomore reserve guard Damon Heuir.
Thunderbird leading scorers and their season average: Point guard Ray Jones, 10.8 (Little Rock, AR); Massey, 8.5; and Russell Taylor, 8.0 (Detroit, MI). Center Hodgson is the leading rebounding, averaging 4.8 (Hodgson scoring average: 4.9).
Jones and Taylor have each had a season high of 22 points.
Jones scored 18 against NDSU and Kyle Davis had 10 rebounds.
We're 4-2 in the series against SUU including two wins last year.

Re: So Utah Game Day Thread
From what I remember from the SUU home game last year, both of the tall Australians were young and very thin. Neither was that impressive. Still, if they beat NDSU, I don't expect tonight to be a picnic.Originally posted by JackFan96Well, I don't get to sit in Mom's basement and watch sports all day

No matter-- should be a good game and tuning in WNAX is a great way to spend the evening.
