That 9-0 run put the Jacks in a bad spot where they needed to take risks didn't pay off. Otherwise they played quite well.

Good showing for the Jacks. Have to be pleased with the effort tonight. Really, the score at the end doesn't do justice to what the men did tonight. Gophs have a nice squad, not sure if they are deserving of being ranked #17, but still a solid team. We competed with them until the final 2 minutes. Hope the players can get some rest and relaxation now for a few days.

I guess my level of expectation has been creeping upward . . . I can't shake a vague feeling of disappointment about a game that maybe could have been stolen from the Gophs if a few more breaks had gone our way . . .

If the guys can maintain that level of energy against the Summit League we should do pretty well.

Yah, with 4 min left I thought "these guys have a shot." I was expecting the Jacks to pull it out. Then big disapointment, tough to watch. But it is nice to again expect the BB team to win big games.

Didn't get to listen to the game but looked at the box score and the Jacks stayed in the game. The one thing that jumped out at me in the box score was the turnovers for the Jacks. The team had 16 and the box score shows Nate with 7. Dang, didn't expect to see that stat. At least Clint was hitting his shot tonight to give him a boost.

When we see a Iverson stuff in the waning minutes, it means the Jacks were doing good and made a game out of this contest. The battle of the point guards must have gone to UM, being Nate had 7 TO's but I am sure its a big improvement over last year's, and if we get another game next year with the Gophers we could come away with a win.

Have never seen a game where the officials were so obviously trying to overcome a bad call by making a worse call to makeup for the bad call. Moss and Wolters were called for palming and Wolters for double dribbling and it was an official trying to overcome for a bad call on previous play. Expect better officiating at a Big Ten venue. We are Colton Iverson type player away from being a really good team. Not sure why Tivis got minutes over Stephenson? I was noticing during warm ups that Dwight looked really energetic and I think it was because he knew he was going to play. We could use another big body during conference play. Tony is an enigma for me as he just seems to get lost out there.
