I thought they couldn't comment on transfers until after classes started, I am more than likely wrong, btw. But, Have classes started?

I'm a little disappointed that we didn't get any JUCO's before the semester start. This team has some holes at DE, SS, TE & WR that could have used some immediate depth/help.
I'm guessing that SDSU holds around 20 scholarships for this class.

Re: 2011 Recruiting List
- Article on a potential recruit -
RB, CB, FS Brandon Willingham 5'10" 175 - Olathe East - Olathe, Kansas
Same city as SDSU players WR Brandon Gant and LB Anthony Peete
http://www.kansascity.com/2011/01/04...away-with.html
“A lot of people have looked at him, but he’s one of those kids who wants to play at the highest level possible,” Meyers said.
Among his most ardent suitors at the moment are North Dakota State and South Dakota State, but his coach said Willingham also was considering a junior college in hopes of landing with a top-tier NCAA Division I school.
Lately, perennial NCAA Division II power Northwest Missouri State has shown interest.

Re: 2011 Recruiting List
Below is a list of players from the Argus's Elite 45 team that I thought might warrant some discussion. Has anybody seen any of the players play? Any of them have a shot at playing for the Jacks? I haven't seen any of them play, I just picked which ones looked to have good size/numbers and that I knew a little about. I know a few names have been mentioned here before as having interest, QB Brown, WR Sikkink, ATH Kruetzfeldt & LB Cook.

ATH -Marquise Cushon, 5'8" 160, MO Raytown South
Offers:Air Force, NDSU
QB -Derrius Vick, 6'2" 180, NE Lincoln - Southeast
Hard to tell if his offers are for Basketball or Football since recruiting sites list the same offers for both sports.
Offers: - Colorado St, Ohio, NDSU
QB -Carson Wentz, 6'5", ND Bismarck Century
Has Visited SDSU
Offers: - UND
RB -Isaac Lintz, 6'0" 175, IA West Des Moines - Iowa Valley
Offers: - UNI, Illinois St, E Illinois, UND
WR -Adrienne Hatley, 6'2" 185, CA Glendora JUCO
Was offered last spring so not sure he is still on SDSU's radar
Offers: - Wyoming, New Mexico, N Texas, Idaho St
OL -Paul Wisniewski, 6'4" 290, IL Carol Stream-Glenbard North
Offers: - Wyoming, W Illinois
OT -Luke Marks, 6'5" 255, MN Mendota Heights-St Thomas Acad
Offer: - Illinois St
G -Travis Seefeldt, 6'2" 280, AZ Peoria - Liberty
Visiting SDSU: 01/07/11
Offers: Utah St, Montana St, Jacksonville St, UND
DT -Justin Jackson, 6'3" 250, AZ Scottsdale-Chaparral
Offers: SDSU is the only offer but has a visit scheduled for Montana St
DE -J.R. Plote, 6'3" 235, AZ Phoenix - Mountian Pointe
Visited SDSU on 12/10/10
Offers: Air Force, New Mexico St
DE -Wyatt Peiffer, 6'4" 240, MN Chaska
Offers: Western Michigan (brother plays there already), NDSU, UNI, USD
Only one place has said SDSU has offered while other sites don't even have SDSU as interested. Did state in an interview that he attended an SDSU game this fall.
LB -Kyle Combs, 6'1" 224, AZ Scottsdale-Chaparral
Offers: Air Force, Navy, New Mexico St, S Illinois, Cornell, Penn, N Colorado
Since we already have a MLB commit in Mohr, not sure SDSU is still after Combs
LB -Hunter Gregg, 6'0" 195, AZ Scottsdale-Chaparral
Visited: SDSU on 12/04/10
Offers: SDSU is only offer so far
S -Colby Targun, 5'11" 190, AZ Scottsdale-Chaparral
Offers: Kent St, Yale, Cornell, San Diego
*The offer that I thought was most important for SDSU to land was JUCO SS Ryan Comer. He has decided to walk-on at BYU, my guess SDSU will start targeting other JUCO safeties.
* QB -Eric Kline, Blaine - Has visited and lists SDSU as his favorite. I didn't put him with the above group because I haven't seen anything saying that SDSU has offered, but I would assume that we have since we're at the top of his list. Kline reminds me of Jeske. Comes in as a mobile QB with the ability to switch positions if things to work out at QB.

I know his father, Warren, through a family friend. Warren played for the Oakland Raiders in the later 1970's. And I think the New Orleans Saints. College Football at Iowa as did his Brother Carl.
Large human, but as you can see Wyatt has potential for a large, solid frame.

If we can land one half of the list made by Mitchell, we are going forward and in the right direction. Looks like a list of talented kids.
