400 plus yards for their offense. Teams that know how to score will take greater advantage of our inability to make plays on 3rd and now apparently 4th down. Gotta make field goals. I'm with Stig, great win but we have a lot of things to work on. Our defense isn't the world beating unit it looked like they might be early this year. Poly and Miss St. have proven that pretty convincingly. Offense will need to gel and I am confident they can.

Going to be a fun pheasant opener. Hope the weather cooperates.

17 penalties in the first half in the Fargodome....one short of the MVFC record according to a poster on Bisonville.

I've been following that game and I followed the USD game closely. The USD game was a good game but USD needs to go through the dorms and find some people who can kick. Pathetic kicking. Lost the game.

NDSU and UNI both played badly in the first half.

TOB certainly proved he is worthy of filling in for Crawford and extremely well at that. Miss State's QB was not to bad either.

This was an excellent win. 3-0 in MV and two big boys coming to town. Buy your tickets and get out to Coughlin as these Jacks just may just be something special.

Are we getting some additional D-backs in on obvious pass situations on 3rd down? It doesn't seem are linebackers can keep pace with these opposing recievers.

Geographer quibble: Miss. State plays in the SEC.

Mo. State plays in the MVFC.

(NOBODY abbreviates Missouri "Miss." It's either "Mo" or "Mizzou" (for U. of.) )

Good road win. The Jacks should have had another 7-10 points. Of course, MSU should have had another 7 too. The Jacks' margin for error will be thinner next week against NDSU.

I said before that the one game against Cal Poly defensively shouldn't throw up the red flag for concern. Well two games, I have to very much agree with you that our defense is suspect at times. No way that game should have been as close as it was.

Listened to first half close, didn't realize the end was getting that close, tough to hear the game with the chainsaw running.

Who would have thought that our biggest concern right now would be Defense and the running game?

One positive note, the Jacks have outscored the opponent 55-3 in the 3rd quarter. Can't look past next week, but I think the team will bear down and get the job done at home. 4-1 at this point, 2-0 in conf is a good position to be in.

Back from the Game today, what a nice win on a cool sunny afternoon in Springfield.

Actually, I was pretty disappointed though, the MSU flag corps is about half guys! What's this world coming to? It would have been OK if the guys would have been placed at the north end of the band, rather than in front of us, but no!

I was about the post the most brilliant post ever, then lost my internet connection just as I hit submit, and it disappeared forever. Too long to re-type it, so you will have to trust me, it was awesome.

Good to get a win in the 3rd straight road game, got some things to work on to be 1-0 next week.
