Listened to the game on the radio while at a retirement party for one of the surgeons at the clinic. He's a coyote fan.
Sounded like we started slow, missed some tackles, made some stupid mental mistakes. Steve also made it sound like the officials might have been wearing red, never sure with Steve. I think that might have given the birds a little momentum. I don't think our guys felt any angst or pressure. The game is 48 minutes and the only score that matters is the final one.
All-in-all another solid performance by a very good team that should only continue to get better. I think its time for our fan base to expect a win against Cal-Poly this week. I know Stig expects our guys to win and I'm sure he wants the same expectation from us. I'm not traveling out there just to see us compete, I want us to beat the Mustangs like we should.
1-0 every week, that is the goal.
