Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!--Bluto--

I think there were fireworks at halftime in both of the Jacks games this year. It's just that we didn't see them in the stands, they were in the locker room. Two straight 31 point second halves after lackluster first halves may point and some fire in the locker room.

Let's give 'em some fireworks in the first half on the field this week Jacks! Something like last year will work for me.

I hope you beat them worse than that. Just trying to predict the week where you don't play up to par.
Nothing wrong with that. Like I said, thats a legitimate prediction, and nothing for Jacks fans to get worked up about. Its not like your making a personal attack on the team, your making a prediction, which is A-OK with me

              SDSU 27 - 13

Another slow start, but ISU's confidence finally fails late in the game.

Here's the game day story from the Pantagraph:

                http://www.pantagraph.com/sports/col...cc4c002e0.html

                Favorite quotes:
"I played Danny last year," ISU offensive tackle Dane Zumbahlen said. "They are violent, they play fast and their technique is sound......"

.....said the first-year coach. "We're going to get hit in the mouth. We'll see how we react to it. That's their style of play, no secrets about it. This will be a true test for our team."
“Reasonable people adapt themselves to the world. Unreasonable people attempt to adapt the world to themselves. All progress, therefore, depends on unreasonable people.” -Bernard Shaw

You have to like an article where the coach and players are gushing about how good SDSU is. Favorite quotes, " They are violent" and "This is one of the better front fours we'll see all year."

                    Re: ISU (Bird) game thread

7-0 Jacks early. Good start--Birds misfire badly on their first offensive series and Jacks take advantage.

7-3 in the 2nd. Jacks give up a field goal after forcing an ISU punt, but committed an illegal substitution foul on the punt play, giving ISU a first down, leading to the field goal.

Oops. ISU gets a TD on defense, stealing the ball away from a Jacks receiver. 10-7 ISU.

I am having problem with getting WNAX audio online and the gap between over the air and video is too much to handle. Their broadcast team is pretty good though.

It was just a touch behind the receiver, but he had both hands on it and lost it. Or that is the way it looked to me.
