Something's not adding up. The bigger schools are sending into to students? How can it be some schools are doing so well after everything was so close before? It just doesn't make sense.

      The voting is rigged?

Well, I don't want to be Conspiracy Theory Guy. But I'm not sure how to account for this week's wild swings. Would a number of schools actually work together? Don't know. But we won some close ones, then lost some by a couple or few thousands. Now this? Could a lot more people be getting involved at the bigger schools at this point? Could it be as simple as that? I don't know.

We got off to a fast start, when most voters were just getting into the game, and didn't have any records to go by. We won that third match by a hair, and so we have been one of the top teams voted against by all of the voters. That could turn around in the second half, when we become one of the "also rans" and start picking up big votes. Having said that, I'm not sure we have the voting power to make it in the end, as our total votes are way behind. Only one thing to do...vote and find out!

Something is going on. Everything seemed to be fine the first couple three weeks and then all of a sudden mascots getting blown out like this for the past couple. Last yeah was never this bad.

Looks like the tide has turned again. After 3 weeks of the big dogs getting the massive votes, all of the smaller schools have the early lead this week. This includes Jack by 440 votes. Time to get back in the win column.

Anyone else have problems voting today? The captcha started require case and then it kept saying it couldn't verify it. I guess I voted because it won't let me back to cast my vote.

Since they went to the verifier with the colored background, I've been having troubles with casting votes. That must have been when they added the case sensitivity.

Yep, I had same trouble. The case sensitivity is definately in play now.

Well, I honestly think the system had been hacked for a week or two. That's why we were down 4,000 in a matter of hours the past couple of times. It also accounts for losing by 15,000 votes...which is almost impossible given the way the system is set up. I can see us losing by maybe 4,000 or even a bit more, but never could a vote be as lopsided as 15,000. My theory also accounts for how much more difficult it is to see and enter your code. I think somebody found a way to flood the system when we were at the top of the standing. That has not been addressed. I'm not trying to sound like a nut...and there's no way we were going to go undefeated...but things seem to be working much better now...vote totals across the board are much more reasonable.

Last week, there were over 70K votes cast. So far this week, not even 20K. BUT, I was able to get the code right of the first try today.

Jack Rabbit is still up on Mike (LSU). But it's again the narrowest of the 6 match-ups.

Still think it is rather fishy. Week 6, there were 70,000 votes cast. Last week, there was 27,000.

This thing is suspicious at best and don't right rotten fish at worst. How do you not even have Thunder listed as one of the mascots to write-in when he was a finalist last year? How to votes vary so much from week-to-week? There may be plausible explanations to these individual questions but with the number of signals I'm getting I think this thing is scripted.

Thundar is always there for me. Looks as the NDSU fan base is slacking a bit this year, Thundar is 4th to 5th in the write-in voting.
