I hope Jimmy Rogers is one of the bloggers. I bet he even types intensity.

This is freakin cool if you ask me.

Great exposure to the westside of the state.

Going to be football weather, too, high around 50, with rain forecast.

            Go State!

I thought I would bring this one back to the top and get it back on track. I know talking to folks out in the Hills they are fired up that the team is coming and that they will get a chance to hear Coach speak and ask him questions.

Hey Mods how about you get rid of all the posts that don't have anything to do with the topic.

EDIT BY JACKJD: GOOD SUGGESTION. I'VE DONE THAT. SOME POSTS DELETED WERE NOT OFFENSIVE BUT RELATED TO POSTS THAT WERE OFFENSIVE SO I CLEANED THEM UP. RABBITOBSERVER, I'M GIVING YOU ANOTHER WARNING...WILL POST THAT IN THE WARNING SECTION.

Here is something that isn't an insult to one of the players

Jackrabbits' West River visit serves several purposes

RAPID CITY - The South Dakota State football team will be in Rapid City on Saturday. And area high school football coaches cannot wait.

"I think it will be great," said Rapid City Stevens head coach Paul Ferdinand. "I'm going to go out and watch practice. You can learn something every time you go out there."

The South Dakota State football team will move its spring practice from Brookings to Rapid City on Saturday, where along with practice, the Jackrabbits will host a youth clinic and visit two local hospitals, the Children's Home Society and the Rapid City Club for Boys. . . .

DOC: I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH YOUR POST AND THE SENTIMENTS EXPRESSED. BUT, TO BE CONSISTENT WITH OTHER CLEANUP IN THIS THREAD, I DID SOME EDITING. JACKJD

I hope the weather holds up for the game in Rapid tomorrow. Good opportunity to mingle with the west river prep coaches.

Sturgis, love the posts. They are funny, timely, and insightful. You keep it in perspective and you don't take yourself too seriously. Keep them coming.
Now, back to the thread: Go Jacks Offense AND Defense on Saturday! Maybe this will help recruiting in that area of the world. Jacks' roster does not have a lot of West River players on it. Gotta be great for the players, too; a pretty time of the year in the Hills.

Comment in the blog from Jimmie Rodgers...this is what Senior leadership is all about. I hope he is right in his prediction!

"Many people saw last year’s 7-5 season a success, to us, it was failure. No team is ever remembered for being 7-5 if you don’t win a championship. Come support your SDSU Jackrabbit football team because this year will be a year to remember. "

so I did what all residents of Brookings would do when they need clothes, food and entertainment....... I ran to Wal-Mart.

                        Hahahaha! So true.

Notice that Dustin Lotzer is walking on as well. Maybe someone already mentioned that but this is the first I have heard of it.
