    Re: Dakota Marker Game

I was at the game, congrats to you SDSU - it was a great game - you guys deserved to win - I love the rivalry game, its been 5 great games in a row now with you guys. Met with a few of you in the tailgating area and had a good visit, hope the return trip is safe. If you were at the game, I was the one in the front row with the energizer bunny in the noose. all in good fun - i cheer for sdsu pretty much every week but this one! good luck in your winter sports - by the way, i have a bad feeling about the womens bb games - ouch i think - and hopefully we'll see you down at CAS next year!

-The Pride. I could hear the pretty well across from them. I really liked having another band in the Dome
-Your offense was really poised given the situation with the QB and the offense stagnating in the third quarter. Kept their composure and had that big final drive
-Like the 'going for 2 by your coach. Great show of moxie.
-Another great Marker game that will be remember for a long time.

Great game Jacks. Great season Jacks Best of luck in the Basketball campaign
Last hightlight says it all. These teams are playing some hard-nosed football against each other. When Berry went out with the slight concussion, I was worried. I also didn't want that to be the way for him to finish his senior year. I agree with all your highlights even though I have to take your word for it on the first two.

Most of the year, a lot of fans have gotten down on our kicking game and today it was a big factor for the win. I don't know how good the Bison's kicker is but making one of those field goals changes the fourth quarter.

Huge win for this years seniors and what a way to finish. Good job Jacks!

Just posting a few comments as everything is griinding to a halt...I missed this game because we leave after tomorrow's game against Oregon to drive to Minneapolis and catch an early morning flight to Cancun (yeh, I know that is a tough deal!!)

BHM has me beat as I only made nine games this year, but got to watch the tenth!!!!! It is no knock on Crawford, who filled the gap very good, but losing your all conference, MVP, record setting quarterback in the first quarter of a big game means we were almost snake-bitten. Lots of hero's in the smashing (well smash-mouthed) of that 46-year long drouth...God I am a happy camper tonight!!!

I had not missed a game at NDSU since 1980 (or 1981 if that was their turn) until tonight. Sat through a lot of miserable nights, but tonight made up for all of them!!! THANKS 2008 Jackrabbits...you have my sincere appreciation...and congratulations!!!

Yes tough loss, but kicking is part of the game. Again congrats on winning in a very tough place. We know! See you guys in SLO next year. All the best!

I tend to believe that NDSU is a better team than their record shows. I dont think we have faced a good dominating NDSU team in the last 46 years that has less than 100 percent belief in themselves. I would say this team is about 85%. I think their coaching staff has some explaining to do IMO. We might see some staffing changes, but Bohl is safe for the time being.

I watched the NDSU-WIU game that was played in Fargo, and talent wise I would say they had it over WIU, but they were not very consistent. Look too at their game with Indiana State, 34-7, and they should put more points on the board, but then I did not watch that game and maybe they purposely held the score down, but I dont think so.

The teams of Babich were real low in belief, plus nearly one whole recruiting class disappeared by their 3 year of eligibilty through transfering to other schools and some quitting. Fortunately Babich knew Lovie Smith of the NFL.

NDSU is still a very good team and a deep program. As usual defense is their strength, and the offensive line seemed to make some great plays. I am impressed with our stops of Roehl and Pascell, both are very good backs.

Can we go for three in a row over NDSU? We will see next fall.

I think SDSU, despite the close losses has been nearly 99% in believing in themselves, and that is what wins football games. Our talent level probably needs to improve. I knew eventually we would get to Mertens pass plays and we got our pick when it really counted. I do agree though that Mertens is a very good athlete and he played a very good game despite what Bisonville thinks. Good game Bison.

If we would have won we would have been 7-4 technically eligible for playoff selection. Yes, I think most of us know that there is there basically no chance to the slimmest of chances of getting in.....but there was still a chance. I don't get how its a joke....long shot...chances of it happening probably less than 1%, sure, but still think it should get mentioned. But if they did it in an annoying way or kept on bringing it up....i could see how that would be a problem or get old really fast.

Oh and it was the right call by the refs in this Bison fan's eyes...no complaining for me.

I don't read the paper version. It all seems more even-handed online.

Below the top story it will be some story about some high school sports, then maybe the SDSU game story will be on page 2.

God I hope all the people who were complaining about not being able to watch the Oklahoma Texas Tech game watched the Jacks play, they would have seen a really good game.

He made plays for sure. Maybe they should just stop trying to find an excuse and say, "Berry is a stud. He plays hard and makes plays and the Jacks beat us." Ha! That will never happen, but guess what? TWO IN A ROW IN THE BORDER BATTLE.

I posted over on Bisonville that he reminds me of Grace and Matt Barr from WIU. They don't see it that way. He did throw a lot of picks this year, but with Roehl being injured a lot this year, I get a sense they were passing more than they like to.

We had a good year, if we deflect the pass in the McNeese game, and drive for a touch down in the SIU game we are in.....
But we are where we are....
We have an enormous amount of talent coming back next year. Our defense is going to be solid, our special teams is getting better and we didn't lose anybody serious(our kicker ended the year on a high note), Crawford is going to be good, not to mention he has some serious competition from O'Brien. I am pretty upbeat about next year.......not to start that too early.
We have done nothing to deflect any talent we are recruiting. Our main recruiting competition has not out done us, except for UNI, and they don't overlap us too much.

We're lucky he didn't burn us any worse than he did. It seems defending running quarterbacks are our downfall.
