Call WNAX, I believe they are co-sponsering one with the Sd Corn Growers. Not sure of the details.

WNAX has a fans bus separate from the corn growers. Last I heard the WNAX bus only had 4 seats remaining. WNAX bus will leave Thursday, spend the night, and return Friday morning. Same for the corn growers. I think the WNAX bus is about $150 per person double occupancy, includes game tickets, hotel room, and meals. Just call WNAX if interested.

Just an offer for anybody who wants to roll out of Sioux Falls early Thursday. I am leaving at 7 or 7:30 and driving straight to Ames. Looks like it's just me, so if your party can't leave until later, you're welcome to tag along. I can't give you a ride back, but I can get you to Ames and beer at a decent hour if you're interested.

Looks like the chance of rain has increased a bit, but I'll still be there. For those not going to the foundation bash is there any type of informal gathering place. I see some of you will be in the ISU student lots. I might swing by and introduce myself.

Cy Dave, thanks for checking in on our board. Hope you can control yourself until Thursday.

My plans for Thursday night are still a mess, so if anybody wants to take on a roomie/share expenses, zip me a note.

Wish I could join you, 96. Looks like I'll be watching at a bar or listening to the nearest radio. Go, Jacks. Wish I could be there.

Any SDSU students or fans want to gather in one spot in the tailgating area?

I think it would be cool to have a few of the carloads of fans together as we get ready for the game and show these Iowegians how to pregame.

Just let me know, we can try to coordinate something.

No problem! I hope I can control myself too! I can feel the tension building all over Ames! Rain or shine we will be out tailgating and enjoying a night of college football! FWIW, it sounds like rain chances are greatest earlier in the day, but late afternoon and evening look to be just fine! See you all Thursday!

Here's my thoughts for what its worth. Anyone heading down to the game who is interested in forming a convoy should meet up at the flying j in sioux falls by 8. Convoy heads to I-90 by 830 at the latest. If people are interested in joining in put some sdsu apparel on your car so your easily noticed. Stop in Albert Lea so those Minnesotans can meet up around 11ish and maybe grab lunch before heading down to ames. Anyone interested send me a message or call me at 651-3852.

If we can be on the road by 8, I'm interested. I probably wouldn't stop at Albert Lea, but I wouldn't mind a convoy-type deal. I want to get to Ames ASAP and look around and grab a bite to eat. Let's monitor feedback. Good idea, Blue Hat!

We'll have a group of alumni headed by the Yankton Jackrabbit Club tailgating in one of the lots. I haven't decided which one yet but I'm leaning towards an area just to the east of lot G6 and north of lot G7. According to some of the cyclone fans this would be a good spot. Take a look at the map link below and refer to the area between the river/creek and the G6/G7 lots. Otherwise, if interested, we could set up in one of the student lots G2 or G3. I'll decide this week. We'll have a flagpole and a blue canopy set up. I'm bringing a grill just bring food, beverages, and a chair if you want. Here is the map.

I'll almost certainly stop by if you don't object. I'll bring my own food and beer, etc, but...yeah. I'm excited.

I like the sound of this plan BHM. I was hoping to get out of Brookings around 7am, so we should be able to meet up with your group. I'll save your number and if something happens and we don't show I'll give you a call. My number is 691-1969. I'll be sure to put some sort of SDSU graffiti on my car.

****Anyone have any good ideas for game specific slogans or pictures to draw on some car windows?

I could throw something onto the minivan windows if given the heads up. Whats the best way to do that? Do they make a special marker now?

They should have some kind of glass marker at your local Wal Mart, Target, Shopko, Runnings, or whatever you have for shopping arrangements
