Does anyone know why our defenders are trying to guess/anticipate the pitch? We've been burned about 4 times when the QB doesn't actually pitch the ball but our guy anticipates the pitch. I would think we'd have enough defenders near the ball so that the initial defender could play the QB and someone could fill the outside spot for the RB.

Just saw the fumble...TOs going our way!

To stop the option everyone has an assignment....ie the QB or the pitch man. If everyone does their job we can stop it. If people try to cheat and anticipate the pitch, we will get burned all night.

Just talked to someone at the game and they stated 6000-7000 in attendance. The East side is basically empty, he said you could show up and sit at the 50 yard line on the East side right now. Also he said the North section and the South student section on the West side is fairly empty as well. I'm not impressed with the turnout for a conference game against a ranked opponent.
