I'm pumped about this game. I think we can really make a statement with a convincing win on the road at what I consider to be one of the elite FCS programs. People in the midwest recognize the name Georgia Southern and win over them puts South Dakota State in front of even more people. I wish I could have made the trip.

I don't think the vaunted heat and humidity will be a problem. And I don't know where GSU fans got the idea that we're not deep on our D-line (one of the media talking points in the Statesboro newspaper all week has been that they can wear out our D-line.) From what I've seen, D-line is one of our deepest units. We play 7 or 8. Even if we didn't, it's not going to be so hot and humod, so no big deal.

So much for that talking point.

I agree. I didn't see the article, but if the folks in the "Boro" (as they say it) think they can exploit our D-Line they're nuts. I think our front seven are the reason we win this game. I'm ready for the link to come up so I can tune in.

You need to exhibit a little bit of class. If you want to make that statement tomorrow or after a couple days, then I can handle it. To make it during the game is classless. I'm not sure I could say much worse than that.

By the way, if you were paying attention to the game and to your coach at halftime, then you would know that our front 7 actually isn't playing that bad. I think you could trash talk our offense and their turnovers, but not really the defense so far.

If you'd like to represent GSU in this manner, then I suggest you stop posting.
