I may be the guilty one for pointing the thread toward smack by inquiring about Doc's hobby of collecting opponent's hats. In addition to drifting toward smack, the thread isn't real topical (Jackrabbit football?) but Doc's one of the good guys Jackrabbit fans have met in the past few years as SDSU entered DI competition.

To bring it back to JACKRABBIT FOOTBALL: Doc and the McNeese Cowboys will be in Brookings for a Coughlin Alumni Stadium showdown next season: October 4, 2008. Doc, I think you'll enjoy the fine hospitality before and after the game but the gloves are off during the game! Good luck to your team the remainder of this season. As you say in LA: Geaux Cowboys!

I've been impressed in general with the high quality of fans in D-I and the FCS in particular since we've made the move. There's a lot of good folks in D-I, starting with our friends and rivals up in Fargo, our GWFC mates and our non-conference football fans/opponents like Doc and McNeese State we've played over the past few years.

Hopefully we SDSU fans have returned the favor to our honored D-I opponents and will continue to do so for years to come.

Well it is fall bring an RV up to the game.

We do have a big RV crowd and more than likely some of them will use the game as an excuse to do some traveling. I'll probably be flying up on the team charter.

By the way, sorry to keep boring you guys, but I can't get any of those Coyote fans to talk hardly at all. Both on their little messageboard and the Div2 board.

Well they talk when they want to argue or talk smack otherwise they are about as silent as a mute.

Can you bring a cowbell? What kind of question is that, welcome to SDSU aka Cowbell U. We rock the cowbell, I think it's NDSU favorite noise maker when we bring them to Fargo. You know you are Cowbell U. when your University bookstore sells, and runs out of quite frequently, cowbells. You can bring yours McNeese, but there will be about 10,000 to 12,000 ringing back.
