Saw the Jacks in person against Youngstown. Take away the first quarter mistakes, and we win that game on the road against a top-notch program by at least 7. This team is not physically overmatched by anyone, particularly along the lines where we can be dominant at times, particularly later in the game when the opponents' D-line gets worn down by Erickson and company.
Good line play = a lot of close games this year. In close games, I like our kicker.
I think we'll see short passing again (wouldn't you force Berry to beat you?) Koenig and Minnet will kick in key yardage. Parker wins it for us.
I wont post a prediction but only to say I think this will be a very tough and close game if the Jacks can stop our running game, and get pressure on our QB, he is very accurate and doesn't make allot of mistakes. Turnovers will be huge, we forced 4 on Iowa State with almost all leading to points. Turnovers and special teams will be the key ! should be a great game and a great series for years to come !
im ready for the game got my grill all set up, and put together a new pvc pipe flagpole, so when we score and u see a blue and yellow striped barber style pole waving a flag in the student section that will be me
I think the Jacks have a good shot at this game. The team is hungry for W and the fans are salivating for their first home game and possibly the best team yet to come to CAS. I expect this crowd to be loud. At least in comparision.
It's going to come down to execution on critical plays: turnovers, no penalties bringing back big plays and a few big special team and offensive plays.

Ok, did I leave any other obvious ones out?
27-24 Jacks
I think you covered everything. I got my cowbell out and it is in working order and plan on ringing it often this evening. I am predicting Parker hits a FG with under two minutes left, the defense makes a last stand and we win 23-21.
I assume that WNAX's pregame is on the air, but it's not on the audio webcast here. I was getting the volleyball videocast with no problem, and when the match finished, I tried to switch over to the football audiocast, to be greeted with silence.
Grr.
I guess the football videocast is supposed to open up in about five minutes . . .
Ihe audiocast continues to be silent.I'm seeing the videocast but there's no audio on it, either. Well, that's not quite true, I'm getting a low hum on the videocast, so I guess that's something.
Y'all up in Brookings will just need to yell extra-loud, I guess.
I had the VB broadcast, but now the football broadcast is just a green screen. Anybody have any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong or is it the broadcast?
I have the video up, it looks good, but the WNAX audio level is down way, way, way too low. I can kinda hear it with everything cranked up as high as it'll go.
I won't be happy if they figure it out and blow my laptop's speakers out. I suppose I should hook up some external speakers to hear the thing . . .
