Bison sure got the bounces and made the plays. What a whimper of a drive to end the careers of this senior class. Jacks didn't do enough, too many drive killing plays and blunders.

The late hit on their last drive and the facemask on ours were killers.

I hope the Bobcats beat the brakes off USD and NDSU. I normally don’t like them but I much prefer them over the other two.

Bobcats winning a title doesn't bother me at all.

I've always hated USD. I grew to respect the Bison. But under Polaseck, this team has gotten chippy and are bunch of douche bags. I'll root against the Bison even if it means rooting for JSD in Frisco.

All that said, Cam Miller really balled out this year and Cam Miller > Mark Gronowski.

Cam improved every year he played to reach the level he performed at this season. Even if he comes off poorly in the interview, I respect his competitiveness.

Im gonna say we need to hired Josh Davis as OC. The play valling was what did it to me.

I wonder about SDSU's offense.
They do not have a Zenner, Strong Jr, or Davis but they ran the Johnson's like they were that type of back. Amar Johnson stands around and waits a little too long for me. On that pass to him in the flat, he stood there for a couple seconds so the defense could converge on him. You have to go and hope you can break one tackle, not have four tackler get to you.
I remember one game this season where SDSU threw 27 passes and one of them went to a TE. I know the TE's are young but (I think) they can play. When the WR;s are inconsistent, I would use a lot more then these OC's do.
Gronowski isn't great at throwing the deep ball down the sideline. He did hit Goring (a drop) on one but most of the others were not catchable. He seem better at throwing down the middle of the field.

Agreed on the RBs, felt like our QBs were better at short yardage power running than the RBs for a chunk of the season. Would be nice to have a RB like Mikey Daniel who was used solely for that.

As for TEs I think it’s a Gronowski thing, he’s never used his TEs as much as QBs like Christion and Oladokun. Even when he had both Kraft and Heins he preferred the Jankes. Hopefully Mason uses them more next year. I thought we also could’ve benefited from bringing in a veteran TE through the portal, but coaches felt different.

My point was that if Davis actually wanted to come back as OC, then Jimmy cost this team a title.

Clearly the better team today, held back by a horrible play calling day by a bad play caller.
