I've always thought it would be interesting to get NDSU or USD in Brookings for the playoffs to see if that would bump attendance. There is a possibility we see it this year with NDSU having an outside shot at the 8th seed and USD should be in the 3-5 range.

That would likely reflect season tickets sold (not always attended as with SDSU and every other team) plus sales for SRO tickets which SDSU and NDSU does not have. In effect, if the SRO ticket holders go find a seat, the same seat is sold twice. Walk up pay for entry and find an unused seat or squeeze in, otherwise stand in concourse. It isn't a dumb move. USD, and this year (from what I hear) NDSU could make money on this strategy.
