There's obviously a bit of a gulf between our #1 Jackrabbits and #2 (and #3). But there's really a gulf to #4 and beyond in either poll. As I advocated earlier in the season, maybe you rank #1, #2 and #3, leaving 4 through 9 open, and start with JSD or whoever you want to jumble in there at #10.

Well I think I left my brain in my suitcase which took an extra day to fly back from Frisco. I arrived, sans brain, on Monday and didn’t look carefully at the polls taken from the NCAA site …was just copying and pasting. Thanks to others for getting the correct, current polling info

My brain arrived Tuesday evening on the Chicago to Watertown flight and has been reinstalled.

Fun trip to Frisco. We’re going to miss that team but there’ll be a lot of reasons to fill the stadium next season, including the challenge of trying to make it back to Frisco.

The return trip from Frisco was interesting for all participants. My experience was in the convoy that sped north on I35 directly after the game, and a bit of on-field celebration. The roads were good until Sioux City and deteriorated quickly from there. The last 30 mi going into Sioux Falls was difficult winter driving. We arrived after 6 AM. About an hour behind schedule, very tired and with big smiles.

I am definitely looking forward to next season and a chance for another trip south.
