The Jacks add Jack Smith, WR from Sioux Falls Lincoln. Had a VERY productive junior season with 89 receptions for 1,346 yards, and 16 TDs. He's not huge at just 6'0, 189 but does play with a physicality about him. Reminds me of Adam Anderson on tape.

Thanks for the heads up! I have updated the list.

With a recent rash of signings Wyoming is really kicking our tails.

Did you notice that former Holy Cross WR Asante is one of the Cowboys' transfers?

Jacks get a commit from 3 star Kansas CB Trey Ridley. FBS offers from Iowa State and Tulsa.

Nice to see this as recruiting has been a bit slow of late. Not sure how many scholarships we have for 2024, but it should be a decent amount with the significant graduations.

If I'm reading correctly that puts us at 19. I would think it would be a big class with all the departures after this season. I wonder how the timing of commitments line up with a usual year? I know that at Minnesota, P.J. Fleck really puts the pressure on to get commitments early and fills his class up early in the cycle (but then loses a handful along the way). I would think at the FCS level we'd have a lot of targets that might hold out for solid FBS offers and then sign late if and when they don't come. Or, we keep a few for late bloomers who blow up senior season. Finally, I would think that with so much experience departing, the staff may hit the portal hard and might be keeping a significant number of spots open.

I'm guessing that many of the recruits that the Jacks are still working on are upper level and are hoping to get FBS offers. It could be awhile before some of them make their decisions.

You would think with our success, attendence and development of so many pro ready players we would be a preferred destination for FBS caliber and transfer portal players. I also love to see the # of local and regional players who want to be part of the Jackrabbit brand!

So what happened with Daniel Simon ? He was the first commit for this class and was kind of a cheerleader whenever the Jacks got a new commit. Just saw on his Twitter feed that he is no longer committed and is visiting schools like Lindenwood, St. Thomas and USF .

                            Just committed to Lindenwood.

I wonder if we pulled our offer?

That's what I was thinking. Lindenwood was the best offer he had. Lots of D2 and lower offers. He scrubbed his Twitter feed of everything Jacks related other than his offer.

Beau Baker just committed to the Jacks. 6'7" 240 lbs TE out of Springfield, Kentucky.

Wouldn't be shocked to see the kid move to LT/RT at some point after looking at his highlights.
