      • Thank God no more dome games left because the right side of our line literally can’t handle noise.

Not gonna say they were perfect. FAR from it. and the offense REALLY needs to figure out what happened against a defense that IS NOT good enough to stop them on EVERY possession of the second half after the opening TD

but honestly the defense DID have some struggles, but UNI is a VERY GOOD offense and we are playing with an absolute skeleton crew in the back 7, including probably the best LB in the conference

the defense made a LOT of plays and obviously it was the defense that wins this game today!! the defense and minus the first missed FG, i think the defense played flawlessly today!! and Janke is becoming a weapon in the return game

all the game balls go to the defense and Caleb Sanders should get a free meal from every restaurant in Brookings and a date with the homecoming queen

          • Gronowski's 2 dumb intentional grounding plays, his int, leaving the pocket when he didn't need to, and missing throws in the second half is why the second half went the way it did

curious JD, WHAT time did you end up getting taped up today??

maybe you need to adjust a bit if we have any more late starts. that one was much tougher than it needed to be. i hope our offense figures out what the heck happened today, cuz i am gonna guess EVERY team we play going forward is gonna go to school on this game plan

                • Disappointing that Zimmer didn’t make the trip to Cedar Falls. I mean the Jacks won the conference. Goes to UND but not UNI.

After their loss today, no more playoff possibilities. Plus it sounds like their starting QB missed the game with a shoulder injury and they had to go with someone with no experience.

Wonder what Stig will have to say?

We withstood quite a challenge in a hostile environment.
I think one of the primary quotes I'll remember is he and Tyler discussing Stig not getting too excited becase he didn't want to risk a cardiac arrest; Tyler saying "what a way to go," and Stig responding "not in the UNIdome, maybe at our stadium" and that he has a malt riding on the latest grounding call on Gronowski (there's a belief that he may have bootlegged outside the tackles)

Can probably blame the Argus and folks not subscribing to it; he had to cover HS playoffs last night, and they're cutting staff, so limiting travel is likely to continue

                          I am in agreement

i ALWAYS look forward to the Stig interview, but he can often be a little bland. this was one of my favorite post game interview ever

i also liked it when he said, i did not even think about winning the conference. i was just excited about getting a win in a tough spot. i should have congratulated the team for that after the game. GREAT EXAMPLE of how much HE and THIS TEAM believe in the idea of going ONE and ZERO, one game, one week at a time

I don't see them "folding," and their defense can still be tough

If you heard the Sanders interview, you might also think it's an example of the program perspective that nothing short of a deep playoff run will be satisfying

I certainly hope so, unless several thousand say they have to save cash for the home playoff games
