Hoping Day and the purple crew meets some "Gales force" defense with a couple picks by Dyshawn and Lofton, and the combination of that and the Jacks offense causes the Panthers fans' only key jingling to be when they're leaving early after Jacks' victory is assured.
The 4:00 kickoff has upset the Saturday routine. Mrs. JackJD says I can’t tape my ankles until 2:00.
gotta tell you, i had a good laugh over this!
may we ask? is taping ankles something you MUST DO because of being superstitious? ya know... your team will not win unless you tape your ankles for the game?
OR is it because the cheering gets so rambunctious that you feel taping is necessary to prevent injury/ have been previously injured? inquiring minds want to know))
thanks for a good laugh!! and yes the time/ routine change is not being handled with comfort here either)!!

I'm just wondering what the acceptable timeframe is for putting on the Batman-patterned eye black?
Have to think that Bob is coaching to keep his job.
Probably, but it's his own d@mn fault for applying for it and accepting it. My apologies if this is smack on a non-smack thread.
Back to the topic. I think today's game will be a tough one that requires a lot of within game adjustments. I hope the Jackrabbits coaches and players can figure them out early in the game.

UND and NDSU games give me faith that Jack can do so. Let's not forget that the Jacks have a varied offense that will likely require UNI to make adjustments as well, and the ability of UNI's recent opponents to make gains on offense (with rosters that, in my biased opinion, are nowhere near the Jacks') gives me some confidence
I think the offense will score enough to win, because the defense will hold them back enough. The Jackrabbits are more of a complete team than the Panthers are, that equates to a win for us I think, regardless of the final score.Special teams just hold your own and we play a clean game penalty wise.
