I would attend that. But then I will attend any playoff game in Brookings. I do get your point, UM forced to play in Brookings would be nice revenge.

Yeah, I'd go regardless. It'd just be interesting to have a "regional" team have their first visit to Brookings be a playoff game, particularly given recent game outcomes versus them.

**Turns out the Grizz have visited Brookings (in 1970). Unfortunately, the Jacks' online history site incorrectly indicates it was an away game, although pg. 14 of the 2022 media guide and the Grizz's online history list it as a Jacks' home loss.

If the Bison, Jacks, Vandals, and Grizz are all on one side of the bracket, I'd prefer to have the Grizz matched up with the Bison and the Vandals play the Jacks after first round (if they'd win)

In the scenario of Stig retiring and needing a replacement. I would definitely choose Jimmy. 1. I don't think Jimmy would change the culture much and continue alot of things Stig has cemented as what we know Jackrabbit football is. 2.I don't think Jimmy would leave us for a another Job, I think Eck's on the path to P5. This is Jimmies alma matre and his wife is a SD native, and a happy wife is a happy life.

Coach Stig is under contract through 2025. So, I'm guessing he won't retire for three more seasons. Eck and Rogers both could have moved on by then, which might enhance Rogers' resume' even more. At this early point, my favorite to be the Jacks' next head coach would be Rogers or former SDSU assistant Dan Jackson. Other strong candidates could emerge in the next couple of years.
