Thoughts about moving up to FBS

Here's what I would like to see, and I am going to call them levels.
Level 1 (basically FBS): ACC, Big 12, Big 10, Pac 12, SEC - They do whatever they want. They are a league of their own. They want a full on playoff system, sure. Crappy bowl games, sure. Whatever they want.
Level 2 (basically FCS, whether you consider the top FCS conferences moving up to FBS or you consider it the lower FBS conferences dropping down to FCS): American, C-USA, MAC, Sun Belt plus Big Sky, CAA, MVFC, Southland - They form their own league that would be fairly quality football and play in a legit playoff like what the FCS currently has.
Level 3 (basically lower tier FCS conferences, maybe some D2 schools or conferences bump up to it?) - Big South, Great West, IVY, MEAC, Northeast, Ohio Valley, Patriot, Pioneer, Southern, SWAC

Even in your Level 1 tier there are only 3-4 teams that have a realistic shot of winning it all on any given year. The rest are just there for bowl games.

The P5 conferences have very little parity at the very top. It's worse than women's basketball was a few years back. Sure, you'll see an occasional upset during the regular season but when all the chips are in the middle the cream generally rises to the top and it's usually pretty ugly.

That's why I like the NFL over college from a pure talent/coaching/overall game of football perspective. The NFL is a quality game all the time and you never know who will win. Just look at yesterday, Broncos over Cowboys? Jags over Bills? Browns over Bengals? Chiefs over (Rodger less) Packers? Cardinals backup QB destroying the 49ers. Nearly every game is good, close, and almost unpredictable. In college, not every game is good from a talent stand point, not all of them are close, and most of them are predictable of the outcome. The one thing college has over NFL is traditions, cool stadiums, and when upsets happen - they are very special.
