Last season no injuries until title game and shorten schedule meant playing with smoke and mirrors. This year a full schedule and some injuries. That’s football! Stop saying could and should of, if then or what could have….. it’s football I MVFC. Jacks blew it. No excuses. The schedule is tough but rep that was known from the get go. Dixie and Lindenwood didn’t help prior but that’s football.

gee i dont know but i guess in my entire lifetime of experiences, i have learned that things generally DO NOT go smoothly and according to plan ALL THE TIME. you tend to get knocked down a lot and you have to keep getting up.

but hey good for you all that you have so much success that you have no idea how to handle a bit of adversity. so you all go ahead and throw in the towel, but please do it quietly FAR AWAY from this board. this is supposed to be for rabbit fans. maybe some of you all think this is the place where you just come to piss and moan about the rabbits?????

YEP losing sucks and we definitely had chances. but do you think maybe the change from the FIRST Q defense to the rest of the game, MIGHT have been connected to the loss of the SECOND all american defender??????? i mean good gosh it is not like we have just random rotation guys hurt at the moment. basically it is 3 all americans and a guy who sounded like maybe could have been a forth.

this definitely sucks a lot!!!!! but i am gonna put my money on this group to put this in the past and find a way to have an incredible season. and i beg you all PLEASE go ahead and put your money where your mouth are and bet EVERYTHING you have against this NOT SPECIAL team!!! put your money where your mouth is or shut the hell up or go whine some place else

This is the sames reason you dont want to playba good basketball team 3 times in a season. Thats basicslly what happens. Beating a good team is hard 3 times in a row. Its that simple

About time for a holding call on SIU.

This was a gripe of mine throughout the game. It was like the ref decided not to call holds against them to negate the field judge's penalties.

I'm incredibly disappointed in the outcome. However, man, plays like Lofton's scoop and score were electric to experience in person.

Let's see how the Jacks respond the next couple games.

SDSU might have real problems even getting a playoff seed...or if they drop another game or two, making the playoffs at all, depending on how other teams play out the season. Zero margin for error now.

Hopefully UND can pull off upset next week in Carbondale. Then, I suppose I'll have to root for UNI the following game in Cedar Falls

Jacks go really safe in playcalling settling for a FG. And it’s blocked. Of course

Not calling a timeout before the blocked field goal was coaching malpractice. They scrambled to get lined up and get the kick off before the play clock ran out. Stig said on the radio interview that they were confused - well call a damn TO then. And this was right after they wasted one on third down when they stood around for 25 seconds and then called time out with 1 second on the clock.

Absolute horrible call. The blindside block, as long as you don't go to the helmet or below the knees, is a dumb ass rule anyways. Keep your head on a swivel or pay the price...this isn't recess.

I was not able to make it to the game today. Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought I heard a stat that SIU had run 50 plays in the 2nd half to our 19. It also sounded like we had a defender down on just about every play cramping up.

No Gardner and no Backhaus certainly didn't help. Two All-American candidates. Hard to see some of their long runs happening with Backhaus in the game.

OKAY, sincerely i have been gone and have not seen any response to my earlier comment. but i APOLOGIZE. i went over the line.

i will go back and read and i will take whatever is coming. the game was frustrating and the comments about coaches and about the team not being good, i ALWAYS find difficult to stomach. and i responded quickly when i should have just said nothing. i am not giving myself any excuse or free pass. again I APOLOGIZE.

i think i have in the past and i will continue in the future to voice my disagreements or frustrations in a far more respectful way.
