Watson, 110 yards. Not bad for a passing team.

Congrats to the D and the coaches for making the adjustments. I think that proves we have the people in place to keep making more noise this season. Unbelievable feeling to get this win. I was jumping around, and my wife was giving me "the look", but she should have been jumping also.

I got the same.  I agree, she should have been cheering as well. ;D Now that the game is over I better spend some time with her.

                    Re: SU Game thread

Stig just said that going into the second quarter they changed how they were calling the defensive sets. After that, only 1 field goal.

My wife knows I'm crazy and she doesn't want herself to end up like me. However, I can still corrupt my kids.

I have never heard Stig so happy. We need an aftergame show that the fans can call in to. Any chance this could happen? Southern has one and boy would I like to listen to that tonight.

                          Re: SU Game thread

I remember watching the Cajun Classic last year during the Basketball tourney after Thanksgiving.  My thought that day was we would never be able to play with Southern or Grambling for a long time. Little did I know that Southern would show up on our schedule, and lest of all I never thought we could beat a team like Southern this year.  I think Stig deserves a good raise just for this game. but so does his assistants.  The defense really tighten after the first quarter and that what it takes to win games.  We have a great staff and Coach Stig has acknowledged this a couple of times in the post game interview.

Our chances at Cal Poly look bright now.  No more of this 52 to zip stuff. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Yea, in a situation like this Stig. is more proud of his players than he is happy for the win. He truly cares about his players. That sets him apart from most college coaches.

Man, I wish I could have been there.

This really has to be a confidence-builder for them going back to California next week. I am busy eating crow (I predicted 42-21, Southern) but I won't underestimate these players and coaches again.

I am not trying to offend anyone, but I think we are all bi-polar fans. This boars sure is alot different than durring the Cal-Davis game. :
