    Re: Texas State

We are in trouble now. Being down 15 makes it hard to consistently run the ball. Kardoes is apparently shaky on his feat and for some reason the redzone offense is a disaster.

This is brutal to listen to. Interception. Can you say UC Davis or Georgia Southern?

just said Kardoes has a bum ankle, was questioning whether he may play at all before the game. Just through a pick, it is early but we are in trouble if they score here.

We might be seeing the results of a 42-scholarship D-I team going up against three straight top 20 teams . . .

We have good athletes but not enough of them--they're getting worn down.

Saw Montana sneeked by Weber St. 24-19 at Wash-Grizz for homecoming. I don't think Montana is as good as their rankings give them credit for. That is the same Weber St. team that got blown out of the fargodome 41-0. Besides this game, which doesn't look good so far, NDSU will for sure be our toughest game of the year.

I sure hope not, because next week is not going to be any easier in front of a number of fans in Sioux Falls we desparately need to impress.

Those ARE cowbells I'm hearing from the TSU fans, aren't they?

                      Re: Texas State

I'm no great FB mind but I can't follow what the play calls are trying to accomplish. Davis is the most prolific pass catcher in SDSU history, we are down by 22 and I don't think the ball is going his way.

Might be a good chance to give Berry a few snaps. What do I know, though.

                            Re: Texas State

i just don't think our offense is set up to play a shootout style game like this...we need our defense to slow the game down so we can try to control it with our running game. Davis is a great receiver but really excels in short and timing routes where he can juke and juve after the catch. that requires an extremely accurate QB (like Brad Nelson) and not Andy K so far.
