Re: UNI
The WNAX internet feed is good. Bad weather is interfering with my radio reception.
Listened to Rod DeHaven's half-time report on the Jack women cross country. This morning, the Jack women finished 2nd at the U of Nebraska's invite. Nebraska won. Becka Mansheim, a junior, finished 3rd overall and Katie Tornberg, a senior, finished 5th.
The Jack men struggled a little. They finished 3rd. The Jack men are fighting some injuries and some of the better runners are redshirted. Nebraska won the men's division and Wyoming was second. The bright spot was Marshall Kambestad, a SDSU freshman but redshirted so running unattached, finished 14th overall and was the highest finisher for the guys from Brookings (can't say "for the Jacks"
. Coach DeHaven has several redshirts he's holding back for next year.
Prediction: Likely that SDSU will be conference champs in X-Country in both men's and women's in the Mid-Con next year.
