Exactly. Criticism is fine and expected but focus on the act not on the person. Calling someone names is just plain foolish.

That is an idiotic and moronic thing to say. Don't get me wrong I'm not calling any of you idiots or morons, only what you said? Do you get my drift?

There are a number of you that treat trolls that come on this board better than our own players and coaches. They put everything on the line every time they represent us on the field, court or track. they deserve our support. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

If the "rumored" dissention on the team was half as bad as it is here I can't imagine how the guys made it out of the 1st quarter of the game.

We won people. No reason for feelings to be hurt. My dad always told me to win with class and lose with class. We have done neither here.

A addresses the person, B the decision. Understand now?

I assure you that I understood what you were saying in your post. I believe you may have missed my subtle sarcasm though. Let me venture to say it another way:

1. I believe it is unfair to judge the performance of a player or a coach by watching or worse yet listening to a game (or games). Preparation for a game is like a week long chess match. Many moves that are made in practice and in a game are made to accomlish future results. You have to know the plan to be able to critique the performance accurately.

2. The coaches know the players better than we do. They know their strengths and their weaknesses all too well. They try to manage their weaknesses while utilizing their strengths collectively. They always recruit the best players they can get. They always play the best players available each and every game and situation.

3.  The players always play their hearts out. They live and breathe to play their sport. Most have spent their whole life preparing for the opportunity. Some days they are able to perform to height of their ability and beyond. Some days they struggle. But they always do the best they can. Are they perfect, no. None of us are.

4. I believe our teams deserve our support, win or lose. I believe the individual players deserve our support win or lose.

Where are all the posters saying that Stig should be signed on for another year. You all were crying for a coaching change after one loss. Why not keep him on after one win.

Just speculating here. With a new president to be named tomorrow and that person will not be on board offically until Jan 1, I can see Coach Stig being here for one more year no matter how the season finishes. The timing for a coaching change in any sport is not llikely. I think the new president needs to get acclaimated with everyone on campus. No matter who is chosen of the three finalists, they are going to care very much about the state of athletics on campus and how they connect with the entire community.

I cant imagine President Miller pulling contracts for personnel on her way out the door. I may be wrong, but I just don't think thats part of her managment style.

Yes I think we should be very proud of our coaching staff and what they accompolished yestereday.

Way to go Jacks! Keep It up. I know it’ll be tough but you can do it. Like I’ve said before in the end, everyone will understand a lot better what this team has had to go through. Remember that most of your critics are your average coach potatoes that probably never picked up a ball. I do know they would never attempt coming up against any of you on the line. Let them talk. They still have NO clue.

Real men apologize. Real men play football. It’s obvious who the “Real Men” are.
It’s obvious who the better men are.

Anyone see the game?? Anyone see the interception??? Anyone know why he went out for a series?? Maybe if you did you would understand who this kid, Andy is. If not, then you still have no clue.

Bad foul for Andy. He should have known better. Frustration and desire got the best of him and it can’t. I wonder how many of us that would have happened to. No excuses! He was lucky. His defense came to play.

The last 2 games; Team rushing – 327 Kardoes – 131 > 40%.
Team passing - 329 Kardoes 329 > 100%.
Total Offense – 656 Kardoes 460 > 70%.
Guess the coaches have a clue.
Enough said!

I don't have a problem eating crow. Andy has played very good the last 2 weeks. I hope he keeps it going the rest of the year so I can eat crow week after week.

Many coaches talk about stupid penatlies. I'm sure this was one of them. Can you at least agree with that??
