Stig stated in the postgame interview that they were set up to go for 2, Poly called a timeout, and he was going to go for 1, but Andy told him "Coach, I'm gonna score".  Stig called for 2 and the rest is history.  Just another reason to believe in the heart of Andy Kardoes.

The Jacks should climb up in the ratings now. The UC Davis game should be great fun. Chilly but sunny weather would be nice. Maybe a little mid-week snow in the forecast just to get Davis nerous about how cold it might be. But I'm getting ahead of the game, and the weather probably won't matter. Great victory over Poly, Jacks. Very well done.

Great game Jacks. Congrats. I was impressed with the way your team never hung their heads when they were down 28-6 and how they came back to win. Now keep it up and take out Davis. BTW your QB is one tough kid. Good luck the rest of the way.

Wow and just think back to the first game of the season. Could you see four straight wins then? I did not see it coming and that is what is fun about being a Jack Fan. Its the big surprises. I think we have a good coaching staff who are allowed to make the right decisions at the right time.

It was very nice to meet so many great Jack fans today. I really enjoyed meeting the families of Eric Schroeder, Dan Dykhouse, and Justin Kubesh. All three of your sons played great along with all of the Jacks. I will be pulling for the Jacks the rest of the season. Good luck and I hope to see you in Brookings next year.

WOW!

I was back home for pheasant hunting and wasn't able to listen to the whole game, but caught the best part as I was able to listen to the last 4 minutes. What a comeback, what a HUGE win! I can't wait for Hobo Day, that place is gonna be nuts!

Great win for the Jacks, Congratulations. I'm new to this site so I'm not sure what all your guys' thoughts are on Coach Stig, but the State fans that I know were pretty down on him after the first part of the season. I'm curious to know what your thoughts are on him and if they have changed at all after these last several weeks. I apologize if this has been hashed over many times already, I just like to know what the hard core State faithful feel about the guy. Do you blame him for the poor start, do you credit him for the turn around? If you wanted him out after the first four games has your opinion changed? Did your confidence in Stig never waiver?

Senior quarterback Andy Kardoes passed for 250 yards and three fourth-quarter touchdowns as South Dakota State rallied from a 22-point deficit to beat Cal Poly 29-28 on Saturday.

Kardoes connected with sophomore wide receiver JaRon Harris on scoring passes of 14, 12 and 19 yards in the final period, then ran for the game-winning two-point conversion with 1:05 to play, giving the Jackrabbits (4-3, 1-0 Great West) their fourth consecutive victory after three losses.

I've made my thoughts known about Coach Stig so I won't go into them here. But, I will say this, if he was to be blamed for the 0-3 start then he's also to be given credit for the last 4 wins.
