Well, it's gonna be a special Hobo Day. The construction management club is gonna win for club float and there will be a new attendence record and State will squeak another W out and some other special magic is in the plans.

A college kid drinking crown? Man, you must work too much to be able to afford that. I remember the days of a 1.75 liter of Lord Calvert in a plastic bottle. Good times...I think...
Well, this college kid is wise and stocks up when he works full time in the summer and chills it for a while. I don't go cheap on things like other people on this board from lesser schools. What can I say I have some good, expensive tastes.

We are only a few days away from the Big game. Anyone care to guess what we might have for attendence. I am going to guess, with the nice forecast, that we set an all-time CAS record. I will say 17,237.
I am still standing by this. 17,237 happy Jackrabbit fans will witness a 24-13 victory over UC-Davis this afternoon. When you rise this morning, remind everyone around you to go to CAS for the 93rd Hobo Day game.

Sorry, I missed on the attendence. A great win, though.

If some of those who remained in the backyard had entered CAS, your estimate would have been quite accurate.
I was at the game in '85 and the game today. If the backyard would have shown up we would've made it today......but then you could also say if we didn't have the backyard, we wouldn't be in the running for the record also. Gotta remember in 1985 there wasn't any real tailgating.....just a few of us sneaking beers out of the trunk.

I agree with what everyone has said - it was a great crowd today. I'll call it the largest SDSU crowd ever at football game at Coughlin. Remember when we set the record in '85, there were in all likelihood a couple thousand fans from USD as well. Today there were 150 UC Davis fans/band members tops. That equals a lot of Jackrabbit fans that saw a great game this afternoon...and better yet, they actually got loud in the second half when the team needed them.
