I've seen zero improvement in the offensive side of the ball. If anything, they've gotten worse. Teams are going to keep forcing us to throw the ball to win.

8 penalties for the Jacks versus 0 for YSU. YSU is one of the most penalized teams in the country.

There have been obvious holds that weren't called for whatever reason

I think it takes Gibbs a long time to throw the ball. That might be contributing.

Probably due to the fact their D-line is able to handle our O-line so easily they have the oppourtunity to get their hands up.

They need to look at rolling Gibbs out to get him away from the center of their D-line. Also, tell him if read #1 isn't there, you're running, and just go straight up the field when you do.

I think the first half is explained simply: Penguins want it more than the Jacks do.
