Now 3rd and 8 for NDSU at the 46. Urzendowski just had one go right through his hands.

Stick is 9-18 for 89 yards, 1 INT. Doesn't matter though since they are averaging 6 YPC.

And Stick finds Shepherd for 26 yards. Just embarrassing the play on 3rd down today.

On the bad spot in the 1st half, did anyone else notice how quick the review was? I saw the chains were already moved by the officials with no measurement immediately after the ball was spotted. Doesn't that pretty much make the play unreviewable?

It's a new defense they are unveiling. It is the Bend and Break defense.

Coaches had the wrong defensive scheme today, and/or players did not execute. I'm inclined to think it's a bit of both.

I have a feeling this hangover will last a long time. 3rd and what was it, 23? That's where it changed, the game shifted right there.

Obviously the offense has sputtered after the first 2 drives, but the defense has been atrocious on 3rd down. Many of which have been 3rd and long.

Also, the Bison have over double the time of possession we do.
