Whatever the total attendance, I really hope the students show up. They make such a huge difference in the atmosphere.

Not sure if they just haven't updated it yet, but I did a quick estimation and it looks like there are about 6300 tickets left (2500 on the West, 3800 on the East).

If I remember correctly, it was cloudy for that EIU game. Sunshine this Saturday should help, especially on the east side.

Even with cold toes, I enjoyed the experience and didn't regret it for a second. Plus I now get to say I saw a future NFL QB play live, even though the Jacks D didn't make him look like one in that game.
While I won't make it to the game from Louisiana or Texas, we get to watch 2, if not 3, future NFL Jacks Sat. Pay for Loge seats and be in under heaters. 10k is doable, especially if students come out. It's a triple play Jacks sports day. Mbb, fb, & wbb. Celebrate in Brookings on a normal Dec day.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: if you don't like the cold, go to Florida and become a Gator. (You chose SDSU.) SHOW UP!!!!

Literally, I go insane with the layers.

Top half: Long sleeve thermal, short sleeve T, 2 long sleeve T's, a hoodie, a windbreaker, and a huge winter coat.
Bottom half: tighty whities, thermal long johns, pajama pants, jogging pants, flannel lined jeans and coveralls.
Feet: ankle socks, knee high socks, snowmobile socks winter boots

    I stay perfectly warm.

I will be coming up from southeast Nebraska. Couldn't convince the wife to come though.

I've been to every "cold weather" game since 2003. Really only a few games stick out in my mind as cold even....Ill st. In 2008, UND in 2010 and WIU in 2014. I dont say that to brag, but to say I'll be stunned....stunned if there are more than 8k. Hopefully the students show up, but even that will be lackluster since they are spparently somewhat boycotting this year.

Hopefully the more enclosed (warmer?) stadium and concession areas draws more.

Fans need to get over the cold and be there.

There is 1450 tickets available on east side in middle 3 sections. The season ticket holders that did not purchase should show on the open seats in morning. That will give an idea early what to anticipate for the base numbers.

Agree with all of the above. Reality is we still don't have a large enough hard-core fan base that will be their regardless of the ticket price, weather or vast array of other priorities on Saturday afternoon. If we hit more than 7,000 I will be pleasantly shocked! The apathy for late season/post season games is fairly prevalent in FCS with a few exceptions like in Fargo.

I'm imploring Jackrabbit fans to please show up for this team this weekend!

If we as fans can't do our part by getting at least 10k in the Dana for this game, we as fans don't deserve a team that is a legit National Championship contender. Our players and coaches deserve it but we as fans have not shown that we know what it takes to be fans of a National Championship team. This team and program is there, not to mention the palace we are so fortunate to enjoy games in...dare I say they've done this in spite of a fair-weather fan base? I guess we'll see.

This is the greatest offensive team ever assembled at SDSU if not in all of FCS. How it is even possible that we don't get 10k in the Dana is beyond me. Please prove me wrong...PLEASE.
