If ùni'so qb is Bailey, I like our chances as he has poor accuracy on his passes. Great scrambler, but he'said a lesser duel threat than Taryn. UNI defense is very good, but after the Ndsu game, they appeared drained vs Wìu. Unfortunately, UNI must win out to make playoffs, which means their backs to the wall. I expect another battle royale. On paper, Jacks should be a winner. But as demonstrated yesterday, what is likely, doesn't match with heart.
Worried about this game. UNI always plays us close. Hopefully the guys can keep their heads focused on the game with all the Hobo Day celebrations going on all week. Win this game and a top four seed is looking more and more likely IMO.
I think we can afford to drop one game against a ISU-r or a UNI and still get a top seed.
Remember Gun Saftey-Treat Every Hunter as if he were Loaded

I still can't believe we beat them last year. How many picks did Lujan throw in that one? 5? Schneider might have saved the year with that catch.

How weird is this season going to get? Who would have guessed UNI would be asking Missouri State to move over on the bench in the league's cellar, comparing their 0 and 3 records. I assume everyone -- coaches, players, parents and friends of players, kids who went to kindergarten with players and, oh yeah, message-board fans -- knows that UNI is going to roll into CAS prepared to get a win. This game scares me (and I'm thinking that every game from this point is just going to be scarey). I sure hope we see another fast start -- punch them right away.
Here we are at the start of the week leading up to Hobo Day and no one has said "Hobo Days". Way to go, people. Hobo Week I can take. Hobo Days? Un-American. Getting ready for Hobo DAY.
I like our chances this week. UNI might be mentally deflated and could be playing a backup QB. The Jacks have momentum and should have a big crowd. Playing sharp should get us win #6.
Five wins are in the bank and there are five games to go. Going 5-0 or 4-1 will get us a bye and some home cookin'. Going 3-2 would be disappointing, but will still get us into the playoffs. The nice thing is that one of our remaining road games is Mo State. As they saw in Fargo, nothing is a sure thing, but I'm glad that game is still to come.
Sad to say, but it has been awhile since I've ventured to Brookings for a game. Too many conflicts and probably not enough conviction. That will likely end this week. Looks like we have about 3,600 tickets to choose from on the ticket office web site. I could also shop StubHub and other sites to get some. However, I'm looking forward to being in the stands with 15,000+ other Rabbit fans and another 700 or so UNI fans on Saturday.
So what are the chances Paris is the #1 back now. He looked like a beast last week. Also, Paris has made some really good blocks on designed QB runs the last couple weeks. Mengarelli has had a few poor cuts the last 2 games, both of which cost us points. The 4th and goal against Indiana St where he cut outside instead of following Langer and the safety last week where he cut outside again instead of just getting what he could. Wallace just seems to have gone downhill since the Kansas game, had a couple of false starts against NDSU and haven't seen him since.

Stig said on his radio show that for now Paris is the starting RB , but that could change depending on what happens in practice during the week.
