Cheer for the Jayhawks to win a couple games this year to prove everyone wrong. And 3 or 4 wins would even be better cause the 2010 gophers won just 3 games.

yeah, I think the jayhawks picked up a bunch of fans from SDSU for atleast the rest of the season. seems like they finally have a decent coach for that program too.

This noticed that too, a coach who studies their opponent and prepares as best he can. This was a big win, but when we consider the depth match up maybe not. I will take the win and move on.

I know the coaching staff was focused on getting the W, but I wonder how much effort was put into recruiting on this trip? We've had success in recent years in northeast Kansas and are even competing against the Jayhawks for a highly ranked running back from Topeka. I count 9 offers to recruits within a short drive of Lawrence, two of them live in Lawrence. While this is not Nebraska or Minnesota where there is only one D1 football school that most everyone follows, I'm sure some of these recruits had to be following the game or even in attendance.

In another article on there about the game, they give us credit for NDSU's 6-3 win five years ago. It is alluded to in one of sentences in this article say this is the second time in a row we have beaten Kansas.
