Haven't talked with his high school teammate, Ben Dinkel, recently. 10 days ago he didn't know what to expect. One potential factor is that Cincinnati just got a verbal from a local (Cincinnati) outside linebacker two days ago. Similar build to Urbanek.

Pretty sure we keep a similar list to go after if something opens.

Is Urbanek not still considering the Cincinnati offer?

Sounds like Cincy is OUT. We still have a strong verbal. Hearing our only worry should be Nebraska coming in late.

Looks more like an OLB to me than a safety. Makes me wonder about the status of Urbanek. Feb 1st can hurry up and get here.

I've read a couple articles and it seems like a 2 horse race between Rutgers and Minnesota. I would love for that to be wrong though!

It sounds like Rutgers, where Jerry Kill is now coaching, may have offered Mafe, and Minnesota still has some interest.

He took visit to Rutgers this weekend and is meeting with Minnesota this week according to Scout website. On Scout website it lists Minnesota and Rutgers as having medium interest to Mafe. SDSU is listed as low interest from Mafe.

Realistically, Dallas Brown was 190-195 max.
