Probably doesn't have anything to do with 2017 recruiting, but Stig is at the Madison vs. Dell Rapids basketball game tonight... anyone know of any Madison or Dell Rapids kids he would be recruiting?

We graduated two, Landberg and Kennedy, this year.

Seniors will be Menange and Wieneke
    Juniors will be Wilde
Sophomores will be Lewis, Anderson and Brown (Sounds like a law firm)
R-Freshman will be Burmeister, Cade Johnson, and Paddy Devlin
Freshman will be Wandmaker and Campbell

Maybe we add one. We'll see I guess!
Plus we still aren't sure which side of the ball DeMartra will be on.

Love the talent on the defensive side, especially the linebackers if we can keep the four listed. Need another wide receiver or two.

I stand corrected. Thanks. I was completely unaware of this limit until now. I also found it here:

Although neither source is 100% credible I would agree this is a rule that is in place.

Van Beek is probably the toughest pound for pound football player I've seen. He has no fear. Very explosive in the return game. I'd project him as a guy who could be a gunner on punts, return punts and kicks, and maybe down the road be a player that could play on third downs. His weight and size will impact him from being an every down player. He's a pretty good wrestler and might play a part in keeping his weight down. My guess is he'll come in at 155-160 lbs. I really thought the Central Lyon that you'd be getting is the Van Wyhe kid. I know there was an offer and then it was pulled. I've heard UNI is recruiting him hard, but waiting to hear on his decision. SDSU is making a mistake not coming after him. He's got good size and speed. I think everyone is questioning his position. I think he's got to be a backer or WR/TE type of guy. SDSU still a little scarce up in this neck of the woods. USD and NDSU snooping around here more often. I thought Leutjens from Rock Valley would get an offer. Skies the limit on him as a DE/TE prospect. He committed to the Coo over the weekend. NDSU really likes several 2018 athletes from the area. I think you'll see 3 or 4 early offers from what their coaches are saying.

Love that he isn't afraid to come up and make a tackle on defense and doesn't avoid contact on offense. Very explosive with the ball in his hands. Wonder what position he is coming in as, if it's receiver wish there was more footage of him running routes, as most of the receiver highlights was him catching screens or bombs.
Reminds me of Dayton Byrd from Brookings who we signed as a PWO a couple years ago. I thought he had a real chance as a return specialist, but for whatever reason he opted to not stick it out with the team.
