It may seem like a low priority, but I wonder if any of these potential recruits are long snappers? If not, I wonder where they are going to develop one from?

As discussed in other threads, Thayer Trenhaile will not be playing football next year so he can attend class in Sioux Falls. So what are your thoughts?

clarification Thayer's eligibility is up and Sam Koob is doing his pharmacy rotations in Sioux Falls.

I don't think anyone thinks it's a coach but considering the talk over on Bisonville is that SDSU only worries about beating NDSU, this is interesting.

I don't think for a moment this is a coach. this is some over zealous fan who is going to try and mess with recruits. As a program, I think NDSU keeps it pretty clean.

They went out of their way to make it WAYYY too obvious that they're from North Dakota, which makes me 100% certain it's not an NDSU-related person... my guess is a USD fan.

Think about it, if you were going to make up a fake account for one of NDSU's coaches, would you go out and follow Zenner and Matt Zimmer as one if he dozen people? Not a chance. You'd try to throw everyone off of your scent.

Somebody from North Dakota (followers include Carson Wentz, Heidi Heitkamp, and John Hoeven) made a fake Jimmy Rodgers account on Twitter and is apparently messaging our recruits. Jimmy's thoughts about that:

Agreed. However, I think it's hard to call it "dirty recruiting" if it is a crazed fan and not anyone who actually recruits for the program in question.

I'm guessing it wasn't a coach of a rival program, or at least I'd hope not...more likely a crazy fan who thinks they are helping the program and giving them a leg up by trying discredit an opponent.
