Jeremy Christner (RB) is transferring from DSU to SDSU. He is from Broken Bow, Nebraska. He rushed for over 2,000 yards in two years at DSU. Sounds like he plans to continue to play RB for us. He is enrolling at SDSU for the spring semester.

He must have had some interest from Wyoming from their old coaching staff as their is mention of him in an old Wyoming football camp report.

I don't doubt RB As an option but I can also see the possibility of OLB too. We'll know more hopefully next week when school resumes and we find out how many players we lost at semester. More than likely a good addition for special teams. Welcome aboard.

Backhaus would be a huge get for the Jacks. Yes, outside LB is what most everyone is projecting him as. Van Ginkel type, but not quite as athletic as Gink. I know he's got a few visits planned and I know he's looking at a walk-on possibility at Iowa as well. Dykstra would be a great pick up as well.

^^ This. An OL with the last name of Bacon has to command all of our attention. What do we need to do to land this guy?

Stick him in at one guard... Then we need to find someone named Peppered or Smoked or similar to compliment him at the other guard. Think of the concessions rush after player introductions. No need to solicit donations. We'll pay for the stadium solely from the sale of pork products.

I moved the posts about USD's Van Ginkel going to Iowa Western Community College to a thread under Missouri Valley Conference. I had some difficulty seeing the relevance to SDSU's recruiting efforts.
