  • Re: 2016 Recruiting List

Coach Flynn just had an in-home visit with Kayode Awosika according to his twitter. Kid has lots of suitors, so this is at least a positive sign that we're probably still in the running for him.
If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.

Jacks have an offer out to Tampa Bay Tech (FL) SS/WR Marchalo Judge (5'9" 184 lbs) according to his twitter account.

His Rivals profile says he's verballed to Western Illinois, but there is legitimate reason to wavier from that decision considering their coaching uncertainty.

Four of the Jacks Nebraska verbals land on first team all-state teams. Quarterback recruit Kromer led the state in punting with 42 yard average.

I really like what I see out of this kid. He appears to be a competitor. Watching his highlights he shows that "it" factor of being able to read of the offense, particularly the quarterbacks eyes. He also shows his great closing speed. He routinely would come out of nowhere on a deep ball and break it up. Often times I was wondering how he could get there. Great speed and quickness. He could easily fill a Nick Mears position with the physicality he shows stopping the run.

I love his blocking highlights. One block is never enough!
