Good luck to Greg Schmidt at Ohio State. SDSU offered and I hope he will remember that when and if things do not work out at OSU. I cant imagine this offer being closed by SDSU until Schmidt walks across the graduation stage. Instead worrying about NW Iowa, we need a full time recruiter for Sioux Falls in my opinion. Others seem to find talent there.

Just curious, did NDSU have an interest in Schmidt?

Interesting article, but I am not impressed with his reasoning for choosing Ohio State. I bet he ends up somewhere in FCS before he graduates. I'll put a dollar on it.

He will more likely end up playing on Sundays, but will never end up at an FCS school. I will bet much more than a dollar on that.

He may end up doing that , but for every high school senior 4 or 5 star recruit that that makes it to the NFL , there are probably a hundred who don't. There are more high powered recruits that end up being busts than make it to the pro game.
