Round trip on Allegiant from Grand Island to Mesa is $266 out Saturday, back Monday. I don't think my family would excuse me from Thanksgiving on Saturday, so I have to pass - but might be an option if I'm in Yankton or Kearney. Food for thought.

I thought Thanksgiving was on Thursday??? Ok, Ok - I just couldn't resist.

Flagstaff is a great place to visit. Gateway to the Grand Canyon and 4 corners country. I never even noticed the elevation, but - remember the elevation issues the Jacks had in Montana a few years back.... Stig I'm guessing learned from that game. Ouch, I still can' get it out of my mind...

The out of state players will be having Thanksgiving with the coaching staffs or in state players families.

The Jacks owned Youngstown. I'm confident they dominate Saturday once again.

Also again - I think the plane ride gives them an advantage over the long bus rides the Jacks are accustomed to. Those long bus rides are hard on the + 6' - 5" +310 lb. linemen. Can you imagine sitting in coach next to them?

To all the SDSU fans and team.....just wanted to thank you for the a$$ whipping on Saturday.... Good luck in the playoffs, a large majority of us are pulling for you guys to win out.

Thanks, SoupCity. I don't understand why the conference did get in more team -- YSU should be in the playoffs. SDSU has the opportunity to show the selection committee they made an error in not including more conference mates.

I'm glad, too. It's been a long time coming. What about a Roku? I can stream then from my iPad through a Roku (if I can convince Santa I've been good) to my big screen?

I'm going to hedge: getting a Chromecast and also a DisplayPort to HDMI cable. I have an iPhone, a Google Nexus 7 tablet and a Windows laptop so somehow I WILL watch that game on my big screen.

Greetings, Jackrabbit fans.

Let me know if any SDSU fans have any questions about Flagstaff (hotel, restaurant, breweries) or NAU. I don't live in Flasgtaff anymore but I make it up the mountain for a handful of football games each year. I'm driving up this weekend for the playoff game.

It snowed about a foot last weekend in Flagstaff but it rarely stays around this far south. Weather up there throws the Phoenix/Tucson/S. California contingency into a tizzy but you guys should have no problems with your travels.

I'll check back here later in regards to talking some football. Students are gone....sadly...for Thanksgiving break, so I don't expect the crowd to be good. Hope I'm wrong.

I cannot speak to that. I would highly recommend AppleTV. If you do have access to WatchESPN, AppleTV has a WatchESPN channel so you do not have to worry about streaming the game from the iPad to the TV, if it is on ESPN3, like this weekend's playoff game.

But speaking to your question about streaming GoJacks.com, no Apple product is compatible with Adobe Flash Player, so you will not be able to open up Jackrabbit Extra in your browser on your iPad, (there are browsers that you can download in the App Store that allow you to do this, but picture quality typically suffers greatly). If I were you, and owned an iPad, I would invest in the AppleTV unit, get a Jackrabbit Extra Subscription, download the SDSU Athletics iPad App, and stream that way.

Done and done. Downloaded the new iPad app ($5.99+tax, plus the Jackrabbit Extra subscription, which I already had) yesterday and watched the Lehigh game last night. Worked like a charm; easier, quicker than firing up the laptop. Alas, I've discovered my ISP decided sometime last year to drop ESPN3, blaming ESPN for charging them too much. I was convinced Roku was the way to go, but it appears that if leaning on Apple products, AppleTV is best.
